How To Play Melodies And Lead Lines On Rhythm Guitar

You’re a guitar player.  Sometimes you lead worship on your own or with a small team.  Chances are you’re frustrated with your musical limitations.

There are so many great parts you hear on the recording but without a lead guitarist or a keys player what can you do?  You’re left to play those same four chords.  

This is a common tale.  One way to break through is to find a way to incorporate melodies and lead lines into your playing.  This will help expand your chord vocabulary and create more musical arrangements.  

Years ago Rodrigo Rodriguez came to our church as a guest artist.  He is an incredible solo guitarist.  He played song after song with amazing chord melody arrangements.  It absolutely inspired me.
